Shipping Method & Address Requirements
To qualify for a free shipping promotion, the following requirements must be met:
- It applies to Standard Shipping: Free shipping promotions are sent via our Standard Shipping method. This gives Scrapbook.com the flexibility to choose the most efficient and cost-effective carrier rate for your package.
- Postal delivery cannot be guaranteed: While your package may ultimately be shipped via Postal/USPS, we cannot guarantee it ahead of time. Because we must retain the ability to choose the best rate across carriers to make these promotions possible, we cannot offer Postal/USPS as a selectable or guaranteed free shipping option.
- A physical address is required: Because we cannot guarantee Postal/USPS will be used, you must use a physical shipping address at checkout to qualify for free shipping promotions. Since not all carriers can deliver to P.O. Boxes or postal-only addresses, these addresses are not eligible for promotional free shipping.
Geographic Eligibility: The Contiguous US
Additionally, whenever we offer a free shipping promotion, it is exclusively available for orders shipping within the contiguous United States.
What is the "Contiguous US"?
The contiguous United States refers to the 48 adjoining states and the District of Columbia. It excludes any US states, territories, or military addresses that are not part of the main North American landmass.
- 🟩 Where Shipping Promos Apply: If your shipping address is a physical address in any of the lower 48 states or Washington, D.C., you qualify for active free shipping promotions!
- 🟥 Where Shipping Promos Do Not Apply: Free shipping promotions cannot be applied to orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories (such as Puerto Rico, Guam, USVI), or Military Addresses (APO/FPO/DPO).
How is shipping calculated if a promotion isn't active or available for my region?
If a free shipping promotion is not currently running, if you require a guaranteed Postal/P.O. Box delivery, or if you are shipping outside the contiguous US, your shipping costs will be calculated in real-time during checkout.
These rates are based entirely on the total weight of your package and your exact delivery location. You will always be able to review the final shipping costs before completing your purchase.
